Scented Garden’s Laura Heywood meets King Charles at Buckingham Palace
In honour of her contribution to education and skills, Laura Heywood, owner of CACI clinic The Scented Garden Retreat in Chester was proud to be invited by HRH King Charles to a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Laura explains: ‘I have had my business for 30 years. We now have two locations, both CACI Advanced Clinics, three CACI machines and nine members of staff. It was started through a startup loan from The Princes Trust, and we have been incredibly fortunate to meet the Prince (now King) on several occasions. Through business milestones we have kept in touch with His Royal Highness, and he has always been gracious enough to reply. He has shown a keen interest in our industry and understands the importance of holistic-based treatments.’ She explains: ‘On meeting him, I thanked him for the help his Trust gave my business. It was a tremendous moment.’
Laura continues: ‘We have a firm, loyal following of CACI devotees and a number of celebrity clients who visit us. Two of our CACI clients are MPs who report to the Royal Household. After the event, we were invited to the Houses of Parliament for a drink’s reception.’
