To find out the best hacks for looking after your skin in the summer – we asked our #CACICommunity of experts:
Prep your skin from within
Aside from CACI treatments like Hydratone that deliver a boost of hydration to skin during the summer months, when it comes to summer skin it’s important to also ‘eat’ your water. Foods like watermelon (made up of 93 per cent water) are the perfect thing. Watermelon is packed with skin-feeding nutrients, such as magnesium and vitamins A, B1, B6 & C. We highly recommend deep diving into foods that are beneficial to your skin. It’s great for rehydration and particularly useful in the summer when the body and skin are prone to losing moisture.

Revitalise your skin
Exfoliation is essential for maintaining your skin's health and vitality during the summer heat/humidity. Exfoliating weekly can significantly enhance your skin's appearance and texture, aiding cellular renewal and removing dirt, sweat and oils from the skin surface. Book a CACI Synergy Advanced Non-Surgical Facial which utilises advanced skin exfoliation techniques such as microdermabrasion to revitalise the skin for a brighter and smoother complexion.

Post Sun Exposure
Our recommended go-to treatment for this is the CACI Hydratone, designed to deeply nourish, hydrate and firm the skin. Facial rollers emitting simultaneous microcurrent impulses and LED light therapy are gently massaged over a hydrating gel facial mask. Ideal for the treatment of dehydrated or sun-damaged skin.

After Care Advice
As an Aesthetician, I always make sure to advise my clients on skincare after their CACI treatments, especially in the summer months where the sun and the heat could cause damage. My advice to them is to always to keep skin hydrated morning and evening. Use an SPF over moisturiser everyday rain or shine. Avoid direct heat onto skin after your CACI treatment. Drink plenty of water and avoid touching the face on areas that have been treated.

Mask Must-Have
Summer can be harsh on your skin, so hydration is key! My favourite CACI skin care recommendation for dehydrated skin is the CACI Hydro Mask. It delivers intense hydration and leaves your skin feeling plump and refreshed. At home, leave your Hydro Mask in the fridge for a refreshing boost, and don’t forget to pack for long flights on this year’s summer holiday.

Protect and Repair
To maintain healthy, glowing skin in the summer, always wear a broad-spectrum SPF, even on cloudy days. If your skin needs a quick pick-me-up, the CACI Amino-Lift Peptide Complex is a SOS solution to repair and soothe.

Don’t forget your body
Add a CACI Clear & Calm Back Treatment on to your CACI Non-Surgical Facial. This revitalising back treatment blends exfoliation, targeted blemish control, and LED light therapy to promote a smooth and even skin tone. In addition to toning, the combination of ultra-low frequency and LED therapy offers benefits such as lymphatic drainage and increased collagen and elastin production, leading to an improved and strengthened barrier function.
