We asked Lindsey from Lindsey Anne Beauty & Cosmetics , Penkridge to talk through the treatment she gave a client with Bell’s palsy…
‘My client Ken is 71 years old. This was his third episode of Bell’s palsy (facial paralysis) and he had been down many different avenues to find the right treatment - physio, medicines - but nothing worked, until a friend told him about CACI and that’s when he called in to the clinic.
Ken had CACI twice a week. Due to Ken’s severe sensitivity, I had to begin gently, and I began doing Jowl Lift movements on the one side of his face where his Bell’s palsy occurred. After around three treatments I could start to put more pressure behind the movements and then I increased the amount of time I spent on him.
At around treatment six, I began doing the jowl lift movements on both sides of his face. At this point I introduced the Eye Revive treatment which improved his eyes and the symmetry of his face. By the end of the course (10 treatments) he was happy to move into his maintenance sessions.
I treated Ken at my previous clinic, however I have now moved into a new premises in Penkridge on Dunston Business Village, where I will be performing all further CACI and facial palsy treatments.
I am so privileged and happy to work with amazing people, such as Ken, and be able to share his miraculous results.
As for Ken, he says: ‘I was very sceptical about starting CACI, as nothing had worked previously for me. However, Lindsey and I had a lovely relationship, and she kindly took her time to start getting the results. It felt sensitive to start with but once Lindsey began, she steadily increased the treatment time and pressure and then things felt much better. Lindsey made me feel very comfortable during every session. Some days even ended with happy tears!
‘Thank you, Lindsey for changing my life, I now have the confidence to go out and start to re-live again.’
