Micro-Pro Around the World: Global clinics highlight the versatility of CACI’s portable microcurrent technology

From distributors and established clinics to independent therapists and boutique studios, beauty professionals around the world are embracing a new level of flexibility in advanced facial technology. At the heart of this shift is CACI’s Micro-Pro - a compact, portable professional microcurrent device gaining international momentum and demonstrating just how adaptable CACI technology can be across today’s diverse treatment landscape.

CACI’s Micro-Pro is making its mark across beauty markets from Ireland, France and Denmark to Poland, Ukraine and the USA. Its portable format and ease of use are opening new possibilities for beauty professionals, from expanding treatment menus to creating additional opportunities for client engagement and business growth.

The CACI Micro-Pro harnesses the proven benefits of CACI’s iconic microcurrent technology to deliver facial toning, line refining, skin rejuvenation, and hand care treatments all from one portable unit. Its dual-function design allows a therapist to perform two treatments simultaneously – either on the same client or on two clients at the same time.

Opening up microcurrent to a wider market

In Ukraine, the Micro-Pro is being positioned as an accessible entry point for independent beauty professionals, mobile specialists, spas and studios.

Mariia Chyzhenko, B2B Marketing Manager at Ukraine distributor Starlit Group, says Micro-Pro fills a gap in the market: ‘Ukraine has a large community of private cosmetologists and mobile specialists who don't yet have the resources to invest in a full-size professional system. The Micro-Pro gives them an accessible way to experience genuine CACI microcurrent technology, offer it to their clients and start earning with it right away, while working perfectly for small spas and studios with limited space.’

According to Chyzhenko, feedback from Ukrainian partners has been particularly strong, with facial lifting treatments proving popular and the hand treatment emerging as a key point of difference. One partner specialist reported being surprised by the results achieved after a first treatment, while also highlighting the ease of use and the appeal of the microcurrent hand treatment.

Microcurrent goes portable

Irish distributor Anita Murray, MD of The Salon & Spa Company, sees the Micro-Pro as part of a wider movement towards compact, technology-led beauty equipment. ‘Small portable beauty devices are now trending in salons and spas, because they sit at the intersection of tech, convenience and profitability,’ says Murray.

She believes the format is particularly relevant to smaller salons and independent therapists looking to introduce advanced treatments without the investment and space requirements of larger machines.

The portability of the Micro-Pro also opens opportunities beyond the traditional treatment room, including pop-ups, events and other off-site services. Murray has also been using the Micro-Pro alongside CACI’s Prep & Glow Pro, describing the combination as an ‘ultimate express facial’ for cleansing and brightening the skin.

For businesses new to advanced facial technology, she believes the pairing can provide an accessible introduction to CACI treatments.

Flexibility driving adoption

At Klinik Dare to Care in Denmark, founder and CEO Line Friis invested in the Micro-Pro as a flexible complement to the clinic’s existing larger CACI system. ‘The biggest strength is undoubtedly its flexibility and ease of use,’ Friis says. ‘It allows clinics to introduce advanced CACI technology without the limitations of a larger system.’ She continues: ‘The Micro-Pro is much easier to move between treatment rooms, making it ideal for our daily workflow.’

A natural progression for established CACI users

For Kosmetyka Francuska in Poland, the Micro-Pro represents a natural extension of an existing relationship with CACI. Owner Malgorzata Repecka says the salon’s long-standing positive experience with CACI technology made the Micro-Pro a logical next step.

‘The biggest strength of the Micro-Pro is the possibility of offering modern, non-invasive CACI treatments in a compact and versatile system,” says Repecka. She believes there is strong potential for this type of treatment in the Polish market, particularly among clients seeking visible results without injections or more aggressive procedures.

A personalised proposition

In New York City, esthetician and Inderma Studio owner Nichelle Temple has incorporated the Micro-Pro into her solo practice, where portability and treatment versatility were key considerations. ‘I work solo,’ explains Temple. ‘The Micro-Pro’s portable size and dual functionality made it an easy investment.’

With facial sculpting at the heart of her treatment offering, Temple has used the Micro-Pro to introduce another modality while retaining a highly personalised treatment experience.

She says the Electro Gloves have proved popular with existing CACI clients: ‘we’re seeing lifted cheekbones, tighter and smoother foreheads, while the Microcurrent Energizing Mask has become a particularly useful option for clients concerned with inflammation associated with breakouts.’

Temple also highlights the commercial potential of treatment enhancements, with Hand Rejuvenation proving popular during wedding season. The Micro-Pro’s portability has created opportunities outside the studio too, allowing Temple to provide professional CACI treatments on set for clients working in film.

‘My clients come to me for treatments that deliver visible results without looking overdone, and microcurrent has always been one of my favourite modalities because it supports exactly that,’ she says.

Bringing modern tech to remote locations

In the French Alps, the Micro-Pro is helping Little Wild Space in Morzine offer advanced facial technology in a destination where access to specialist treatments can otherwise be more limited.

Beauty therapist turned holistic therapist Carrie Greer says the hands-on nature of the Micro-Pro was a major attraction: ‘I LOVE the Micro Pro!” says Greer. ‘The fact that I can use my hands is a massive plus point for me.’

Greer has incorporated the Microcurrent Energizing Mask as an enhancement to some of her treatments, using the treatment time to continue with complementary services such as reiki or reflexology.

For Greer, the combination of manual therapy and microcurrent is particularly relevant to her holistic approach, allowing her to retain the physical connection with clients while introducing CACI technology. The device has also attracted interest from both year-round residents and second homeowners who are accustomed to having CACI treatments in major cities.

A global opportunity for portable professional technology

Across these markets, a common theme is emerging - advanced beauty technology is no longer limited to a large footprint.

For independent therapists, the Micro-Pro offers portability and the ability to build technology-led treatments into existing services. For established salons and clinics, it can provide additional flexibility, treatment-room efficiency and opportunities for bespoke protocols and add-ons. For mobile practitioners, it can extend professional services beyond the traditional salon or clinic environment.

International feedback highlights the potential for the Micro-Pro to act as an entry point for new businesses, while giving established CACI businesses the opportunity to extend their existing CACI offering.

Dean Nathanson, CACI’s Managing Director concludes: ‘The Micro-Pro is clearly demonstrating how portable technology can open up new possibilities for the professional beauty sector both in the UK and abroad.’
