Treating Bell's Palsy

Bell’s Palsy sufferer Ian Freedman, 56, reveals how CACI helped him on his journey to full facial muscle recovery.

Ian arrived at CACI head office feeling low and frustrated. He explains: ‘The right side of my mouth had dropped, and I couldn’t close my right eye properly. I was also finding it difficult to eat and drink as I couldn’t control my mouth.’

‘A good friend of mine told me about CACI and that the machine and technology was developed to treat stroke and Bell’s palsy.’

The CACI trainers observed that he had visible facial paralysis and decided to work on one side of his face. ‘We held the positions longer than standard treatments. For Bell’s palsy treatment we hold for 10 seconds on effected side and add six to 10 quick strokes on effected area.’

Ian was given four treatments up to 45 minutes each. ‘I felt surprisingly relaxed during the treatments even though the trainer was using probes to lift the skin,’ says Ian. ‘The trainer made me feel relaxed and explained all the stages of the treatments and the products used.’

Ian noticed a difference after the first two treatments, and by the fourth he says: ‘The results were fantastic. The facial muscles are functioning again. I feel great. I would definitely recommend having CACI to assist in a speedier recovery from Bell’s palsy.
